Joseph A. MacNeil (Wishie), 76, died peacefully Nov. 16, 2010, in Vancouver, B.C.
Born in Reserve Mines, he was the grandson of the late Michael and Margaret MacNeil, 793 Neville St.
He is survived by many relatives and friends in Cape Breton, Ontario and British Columbia.
He was predeceased by his mother Christine Russell, Aunt Rhea MacNeil and brother Leo MacNeil.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Reserve Mines, Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m. A reception will follow in the church hall.
Donations in Wishie’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery Fund.
