We, the family, regret to inform the sudden passing of Brian Joseph Woodfine of Sydney Mines at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on October 27, 2017 at the age of 52, surrounded by his loving family.
Brian was born in North Sydney to parents Thomas and Lorraine Woodfine, Sydney Mines. Brian was always a very busy man with some kind of project on the go from anything to do with cars right down to cooking. Brian worked for the CBRM Public Works North Division where he had lots of great friends.
Brian leaves behind his loving partner, Dawn Roberts. Brian is survived by his children, son, Brian (Megan) Woodfine, and daughter, Ashley Woodfine. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary (Paul) Woodfine, Wilfred (Debbie) Woodfine, Sheldon (Lana) Woodfine and Paul (Letha) Woodfine. Brian had four grandchildren which he adored, Mya, Alexa, Landen and Ayla. Brian also leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews, Catherine, Robert, Justin, Spencer, Rebecca, Alyssa and Michael.
Visitation for the late Brian Woodfine will take place Monday (today) from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at JM Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Brian’s life will take place Tuesday 10 a.m., October 31, 2017 at Holy Family Church with Fr. James Oliver officiating. With burial to take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Sydney Mines.
