NICKERSON, Ralph David, – 93, Shelburne, formerly of Clark’s Harbour, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017. Born in Clark’s Harbour, August 6, 1924, he was a son of the late Dewey and Genieve (Newell) Nickerson. He was a fisherman all his working life. He liked to play cards at the haven, playing pool, gunning, camping, and collecting watches and knives. Ralph was also an avid Yankees fan. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Addie (Swim) Nickerson; sons, Brian (Gwendolyn), David (Judy), Eric (Dottie), Travis (Rhonda); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy, Stanley; aunt, Ester; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his grandson, Darren; brother, Orville; sisters, Estelle and Lillian. There was a visitation held Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service followed on Thursday, November 2, at 2 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Paul Lavender officiating.
