It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Emmeta Watson (nee: Alley) of Stephenville Crossing, formally of St. David’s announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with many loving memories her husband of 63 years George; daughter Nancy (Douglas) Hulan, St. David’s; granddaughters: Rhonda Hulan (Jamie MacLeod), Susan (Glenn) Ryan; great-grandson Steven Hulan; sisters: Nada Wells, Caroline Sheaves; sisters- in-law: Violet (Grath) Black, Betsy (Guy) Tompkins; brothers-in-law: Ellis Watson, Donald (Pat) Watson as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by infant grandson Stephen Hulan; parents Elijah and Martha Alley; sisters: Elizabeth, Beatrice; brothers: Allison, Harold, Edward, Willoughby, Stephen, James, Theo; in-laws: Adrill and Mary Watson; sisters-in-law: Eliva, Francis; brothers-in-law: Arthur, Gordon, Cedric, and Adrian. The family will be receiving friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David’s from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, St. David’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
