BURNS, Wayne Gregory – age 64 of Margaretsville, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was born in Bridgewater and grew up in Nictaux Falls where he and his friends had lots of good times. Wayne devoted his life to his family whom he loved dearly. He had a passion for cars and had built his own “rat rod”, which he liked to take to local car shows. He also enjoyed trips to events in Milltown, MA and swap meets in Carlisle, PA. Wayne was an owner/operator of his own trucking company which he kept a passion for even after he left it behind for a career with TRA and later, Parsons Motors RV. Wayne was a member of Margaretsville Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed by his parents Wilfred and Goldie of Nictaux; his wife Debbie (Chute); daughters Shannon (Aaron) of Truro and Miranda (Colin) of Halifax; sons Craig (Loretta) of Nictaux and Tyler (Nichole) of Halifax; sisters Deborah (Norm) Lee of Dartmouth and Angela Burns of Squirreltown; grandchildren Ethan, Sophia, Everley and Lennox. In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Margaretsville Fire Hall.
