CARDINAL, J.G. Gerry - On November 5, 2017 at Carefor Cornwall Hospice; age 90 years old. Beloved husband of 64 years to Madeleine (née Rancourt) Cardinal. Dear father of Lyne, Michelle (Richard), Jean (Louise) all of Cornwall, ON and André (Nadia) of Saint-Constant, Québec. Dear grandfather of Steve (Josée), Eric, Karine, Nathaniel (Heaven), Chanel, William and Tristan. Great-grandfather of Lia, Lexie, Jaydan and Bella. Dear son of the late Olivier Cardinal and the late Délia Joanisse. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Leo, Yvan and 1 sister, Lillian Kinsella. Mr. Cardinal was a former Courtaulds Manager for 28 years and Founder and President of the Cornwall Transportation Club. Gerry was also a proud member of Jim’s Winter Bridge Club. Cremation. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 12:30 p.m. until time of Service on Friday. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 in Saint-Félix-de-Valois Church at 2 p.m. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery.
