Joyce Helen (Ross) Pitman
It is with both sadness and joy we announce the passing of Joyce Helen Pitman (nee Ross), 94 years.
Sadness, because she will be greatly missed. Joy, as she will be with Our Father God and her husband of 62 years, Russell Austin who was born and raised in Yarmouth, NS.
Joyce leaves behind her 3 daughters Lynn (Geoff) of Surrey, BC, Judy (Blaine) of Calgary, AB and Gail (Phil) of Tidnish Bridge, NS., five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Russell and cherished granddaughter, Kelly.
In keeping with Joyce's greatest wish to return to her beloved home, her burial will take place in Alberta. Referring to her battle with Alzheimer's "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7.
