Wai Chen Chow – 95, Truro, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Kwangtung, China, she was the daughter of the late Chi Wor Woo and Ho Fui Tse. Wai dedicated herself to the family business, the Chow Family Restaurant in Truro. She possessed a strong work ethic and personality.
She is survived by son, Stan Chow (Marie); grandchildren, Anne Ireland (Bill), Sandra Munro (Ted), Michael Chow (Winnie); great grandchildren, Devin and Nicole Munro, Matthew Chow. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Yuen Qwan Chow. Grandmother proudly enjoyed keeping the Chinese tradition of making Dim Sum and Pastries for her family. She cherished her time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Something sweet and a coffee (with five sugars) was always a welcome treat during the visit.
