Peacefully at The Palace LTC on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, Mary Christena MacLachlan (nee MacLennan) formerly of Glen Sandfield; at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Ronald MacLachlan (1997). Loving mother of Murray (Alida), Ian (Sharon), and Kevin MacLachlan. Predeceased by her parents Angus Kenneth MacLennan and Catherine Elizabeth MacCuaig; also by her brothers Kenneth (late Eva), Lloyd (Isabel), Grant (Rita) and sister Serena. Deeply missed by her grandchildren: Haley (Trevor), Cheri (Joshua), Josie, Melanie, Jason (Brandi), Jennifer (Mike) and Robyn; and by her 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South Alexandria (613-525-2772). As per the family's wishes, there will be no Visitation. A Private Committal Service and Interment will be held in the St. Columba Presbyterian Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Christena a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
