Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by his daughter Rhoda and son Paul. Leaving to mourn his wife Sheila (nee Williams), sons Keith (Jeanette) and Gerry (Leona); daughters Marjorie Summers (David) and Tessie Vinnicombe; stepsons Eric Goulding (Tina) and Wilson Barrett (Melinda); stepdaughters Diana Peddle (Jason) and Jennifer Goulding (Taylor); also a large number of family and friends. Thanks to all the nurses at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital and special thanks to Dr. Thava, Dr. Ahmand, Dr. David Hart and Dr. Thoms who have provided exceptional care and compassion. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road with visitation on Monday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. At Gerard's request, in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
