It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Cormier, age 81, of Cheticamp, NS on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Foyer Pere Fiset, Cheticamp, NS.
Born in Ontario, Mom was the youngest of her family. After Dad retired, they travelled and enjoyed many winters in Florida. She was a great cook and loved to crochet. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be missed by many.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Darleen (John) Deveau, Sydney, NS; her sons, Robert (Bonnie) Cormier, Mississauga, ON, Pat (Debbie) Cormier, Stoney Creek, ON; sister, Evelyn (Harold), Toronto, ON; grandson, Trevor Cormier, Shelburne, ON; sister in law, Agnes (John) Camus, Sydney, NS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews near and far.
Carole was predeceased by her husband, Patrick; parents, Howard and Marion; brothers, William, Howard, Ross, and George; sisters, Beatrice, Edith, Jean, Gertrude, and Lillian.
Cremation has taken place. At her request, no service will be held at this time. A family celebration will take place at a later date.
