MacKay, Ethel Muriel – Age 98, passed away November 2, 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta. Born in North River in 1919, she was a daughter of the late William and Bertha Delaney and lived in Dawson Creek, B.C. for many years before moving to Edmonton at age 91 to live at Tara Rosa Continuing Care. Surviving are her five daughters, Inez Wall, Earltown; Maxine Cook, Lyons Brook; Mary Kenal, Vancouver; Heather MacFadyen, N.B.; Brenda (Gary) Smith, Blind Bay, B.C.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie; five brothers and one sister. No funeral by request. Burial will be at a later date in The Falls Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
