It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nina Ross (nee Burt), age 71 years, formerly of Bridger`s Cove, New World Island, NL announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She is predeceased by her parents Sandy & Pearl Burt, husband Peter Ross, brother Lloyd Burt, nephew Aubrey Burt and niece Helen Mercer. Left with fond and loving memories are her siblings Lilly Squires, Neal (Ina) Burt, sister-in-law Marion Burt, nieces and nephews Eleanor (Harry) Bartlett, Levi (Marilyn) Burt, Claudette (Dudley) Cooze, Monica Squires, Vina (Frank) DeMasi, Sandy (Adrienne) Burt and their children as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Funeral service was held from the New World Island Funeral Home on Saturday, December 9, 2017. In keeping with Nina's wishes, cremation will follow. Donations in Nina's memory may be given to a charity of one's choice.
