It is with deep sadness that we the family announce the passing of our brother Bob in Ontario. His family were there with him to the end.
Bob is survived by his wife, Helen of 44 years in Burlington; his stepchildren, Allan Hawker, Edmonton, Pauline Hawker, June Rushak, both of Milton, Ont., and Susan Walker, Saskatoon; 11 grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his brothers, Bert Reid, Gainesville, Fla., Gordie (Lexie) Reid, North Sydney; sisters, Edna Hilton, Margie (Brian) Killen, both of Kitchener, Marion MacBurnie, North Sydney, Elaine (Gary) Smith, Dartmouth; sister-in-law, Carole Reid, Dartmouth; many nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Fred J. and Charlotte Reid, brothers, Lloyd and Donnie, North Sydney, Larry, Dartmouth, sisters, Gladys Ferguson, Sydney Mines, Charlotte Erskine, Montreal.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral to be held in Ontario. Interment of his ashes to take place at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney, at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Prostate Cancer or a charity of ones choice.
