Melanson, David Joseph Anthony, 71, Truro, passed away suddenly, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at home. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Frank and Jennie (LeBlanc) Melanson. David was a Grocery Manager for Save Easy, Truro and also an independent milk truck driver for Farmer’s Dairy.
He is survived by his wife the former Wendy Gail MacNutt; sister Judy MacIntosh (Peter) of Truro; brother Eldon Melanson (Janet) of Truro; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a twin Sister Dale; Brother Tony.
No visitation or funeral service by family request. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Burial will take place at a later date in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. Donations in memory may be made to the Colchester Branch SPCA.
