GILL, Violet Irene - It is with sadness that the family of the Late Violet Irene Gill announces her passing on May 2, 2011 at The Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, Botwood, NL aged 97 years. Violet is predeceased by her husband, Willie; sisters, Mary; brother, Esau. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son, Allan (Melanie) Gill of Botwood, NL; grandchildren, John (Fiona) and Lisa (Dan); 4 great grandchildren, Zachary, Michael, Thomas and Norah; brother, Eli (Mavis); sister, Lorraine. The visitation took place Tuesday, May 3, 2011 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home. The funeral service took place Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11 am from The St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory were made to the St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund. Pallbearers were Reg Butt, Donald Brett, Frank Dominie, Melvin Torraville, John Gill and Allan Gill. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home.
