COOK, NAIDA C. - Naida C. Cook of Hartland passed away on Thursday, May 5th, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born December 30, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Alban and Marguerite (Bubar) Page. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Carvell and Marie Cook; sister, Elinor Haywood; brothers, Dalton Page, Glen Page; brothers-in-law, Walter Cook, Malcolm Cook, James Derrah, Earl Carde; sisters-in-law, Marion Cook, Glenna Derrah. Naida is survived by her husband, Raymond Cook of Hartland; son, Peter (Patricia) Cook of Hartland; daughter, Terry (William) Bubar of Upper Brighton; grandchildren, Benjamin Cook, Caleb Cook, Bryce Cook, Connor Cook, Beth-Ann (Peter) Johnston, Julie (Rob Henry) Bubar; great grandchildren, Aidan Johnston, Will Henry; sister, Muriel (Hugh) Cook Smith of Hartland, Donalda (Alton) Fox of Fredericton; brother, Floyd (Helen) Page of Coldstream; brother-in-law, Stephen (Shirley) Haywood of Somerville; sisters-in-law, Marie Page of Woodstock, Laurel Anne (Roy) Smith of Hartland, Muriel Carde of Peterborough, ON; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday the 7th from 4 to 8 p.m. from the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland. The funeral service will be held on Sunday the 8th at 3:00 p.m from the Coldstream Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland at a later time. If so desired donations can be made to the Upper River Valley Cancer Support Group. www.brittonfh.ca
