HENRY, Donald – C. Donald Henry CPA, CA at Woodland Villa, Long Sault, Ontario on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Seebach). Loving father of Glynis, Richard (Maureen), Robert (Brenda), Craig (Wendy) and Carolyn. Cherished grandfather of Jessica (Kyle), James, Patrick (Emilie), Kirsten, Brad, Aric and Sarena and great-grandfather of Maddex and Greyson. Treasured brother-in-law of Marlene Henry. Predeceased by his mother Connie (nee Salter) Henry and brother Gordon.

After obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation, Donald worked at Proctor & Gamble. He then joined the accounting firm Dunwoody (now BDO) and moved to Cornwall to head the office there. He subsequently merged this practice with Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte). He was a Cornwall Public School Board Trustee and was highly involved with the Cornwall Kiwanis Club for a number of years. His faith and church were very important to him and he was an active member and lay reader at Trinity Anglican Church for many years. He loved to travel and took advantage of conferences and annual meetings of the Kiwanis Club and Dunwoody to see other cities and countries. On his retirement, he had the time to develop hobbies, winter in Florida and spend much more time with his family whom he cherished and loved deeply.

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 105 Second Street West, Cornwall at 1:30 on January 3, 2018; Venerable Archdeacon Frank W. Kirby officiating. Light refreshments to follow in the church hall. Rite of Committal to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
