Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family and caregivers on December 31, 2017, Eugene Ryan, age 71. Predeceased by his mother Bride (White) Ryan, 1986 and his father Danny Ryan, 1986; his aunt Belle Fennelly, who took him under her wing; his best friends: Bobby Skanes, Hilary Trainor and Ford Brothers and many aunts and uncles of the Ryan and White families. Leaving to mourn his brother Vince (Glenda and their daughter and son-in-law Jamie (Kevin) Dunn; his brother Jimmy (Brenda and their son David), his Aunt Mary Ryan and her family; and his family of thirty-one years Jean and Gerald Fahey, their children, Gerry, Jennifer, Justin, Joanne, Eileen and Elizabeth and their families, who were his mother and father, brothers and sisters, children and grand-children; his caregivers at Fahey's Personal Care Home; Sharon Walsh, Anna Pittman, Catherine Hagan, Jennifer Power, Cynthia Rogers, Bernice Elson and the many caregivers at the home over the years; his friends the residents of the home and all family relatives and friends. Eugene is resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse on Wednesday, January 3rd from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass from St. Charles Borromeo Church, Fermeuse on Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ferryland.
