Wile, Lillian Isobel - 92, of Bible Hill, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Trenton, NS, she was a daughter of the late Robert Malcolm and Martha (Lightbody) Dunbar. Isobel was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her sons, Barry (Sheila) of Fletchers Lake and Doug (Tanya) of Truro; several Grandchildren; several Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Raymond Wile; brother, Frank; grandson, Harley in infancy.
Arrangements are entrusted to Mattatall-Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro where visitation will be held from 1-1:45 pm and funeral service at 2 pm, Friday Jan.5. Web casting will commence at 1:55 pm. Rev. Donna Lawrence will officiate with a reception to follow. Burial will take place in Bible Hill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA Truro Branch. Isobel’s family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Palliative Care Unit and also to the Nurses of the third floor of CEHHC, Truro, for your kindness and care given to our mom.
