Willina Mary ‘Peggy’ Kyte

We, the family, are saddened to announce the death of our mother Peggy. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 97.
At the time of her passing, she resided at MacGillivray Guest Home, where she received amazing care and love for the past four years.
Peggy was the last remaining member of her immediately family.
A loving mother, she leaves to mourn, her daughter, Valarie (Frank) Mullins, and son, Arnie (Joanne) Kyte.
Also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, Karen (Colin) Piccott, Krista (Mike) Almond, Lindsay Kyte, Karla (Chris) Devison, Lisa (Andy)Maxwell, Jacob, Liam, Sara, Julia, Max, Mia, Breanne and Jamie.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Birney, who died in 2004, and her son, George in 2013. Also predeceased by parents, Margaret and Cameron Routledge, and siblings, Leitha, Ellen, Ethel, Anne, Roddie and Bill.
Our wonderful mother will be remembered always for her love and generosity especially to her family and close friends.
There will be no visitation. A final farewell for Peggy will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 with a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church at 2 p.m. Reverend Dennis Lamey and Reverend Everett MacDow officiating.
Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband and son.
