The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 of Joseph “ Joe” Sylvain Perry of Summerside, aged 77 years. Joe was born in St. Edwards to the late Frankie and Mary Anne (Allan) Perry. Beloved husband of Sadie (nee Gallant) and loving father of Donald (Alice) Perry, Donna Lee Perry (Clayton McCormack), Carl (Joyce) Perry, Calgary, AB, and Harvey Perry. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Joey and Joeleen Gallant and great grandchildren Joe, Austin, Morgan and Nadia. Survived by his brothers and sisters Lila Bernard, Bernadette (Raymond) Richard, Dorothy (Roy) Thibideau, Delima (Joe) Dugay, Josephine (Randy Ross), Leo (Bonnie), William (Susan), Geraldine (Omer) Richard, Rena Chaisson (Eldon), AnnMary, Edward (Freda) and Leona Shields (David MacDonald). Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brother Ben, brothers in-law Abby Perry, Emile Chaisson and Ben Bernard. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, January 12th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Memorial donations in Joe’s memory to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
