Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, January 20, 2018, Bertha Furey (Mudder), of Holyrood, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, sons: Thomas and Patrick Jr. and special friend Jim Rideout. Leaving to mourn are her daughters: Peggy Drover (Sam), Loretta Caines (Bob), Cathy Haas (Melvin), Judy Hass (Max), Bert Kelly (Jamie) and Karen Fewer, son Philly Furey, daughters in-law: Donna and Brenda Furey, 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, brother Gerald Lewis (Helen), numerous nephews and nieces especially Edna McGrath and family and a circle of family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10:30 am from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
