Rosalyn Patey, 63, of 24 Armstrong Pl., Fort Frances, ON, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Monday, April 25, 2011. Rosalyn was born Nov. 26, 1947 in Meadows, NL to the late Cyril and Mary Brake. Rosalyn left a lasting impression on all those whose lives she touched. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Rosalyn is survived by her four children, Lorie (Cory) Labbe, Paul (Stacy) Patey and Allison (Ed) Vold, all of Fort Frances, ON and Nicole (David) King of Garson, ON; and 11 grandchildren, Haven and Harley Labbe, Gregory, Brittany and Brooklyn Patey and Taylor Pagee, Cody, Nolan and Lauren Vold and Keira and Carson King. She also is survived by four sisters, Matilda (Winston) Sooley, Phyllis (Dave) Sheppard, Vivian Brake and Vera Brake, all of Corner Brook, NL; one brother, Gordon (Valerie) Brake, also of Corner Brook, NL; special friends, Daphne Gouin and Danette McIntyre and many nieces and nephews. Interment will take place in Mount Patricia Cemetery in Corner Brook, NL at a later date.
