Betty was born in Riverview, Cumberland County and spent almost her entire life first in Hopewell and later in Riverton. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her three children were the centre of her universe and she committed her life to their well being. She attended every basketball game, 4-H show, Highland Dance competition, pageants and school performances, she was in the front row cheering her children on. “Be the best that you can be” was her motto. Her favourite pastimes were cross stitching and doing cryptoquotes, listening to country music and the sound of bagpipes. She was the most wonderful mother and will be dearly missed.
