Life is a journey
of sweetness and sorrow
Of yesterday’s memories
and hopes for tomorrow.
Life’s pathways we choose and
detours we faced
with patience and humour,
courage and grace.
Joys we have shared with people we’ve met
have touched us in ways we will never forget.
Remember me not in a way
that makes the heart ache,
but in a way that brings it warmth and delight.
In the midst of all the noise and haste,
In moments of silence,
remember the happy times we shared,
and the ways we showed love for one another.
