Our hearts are broken from the tragic and sudden loss of Christine, at only 48 years of age. She passed away at St. Claireís Mercy Hospital on January 25th, 2018 despite the best efforts of medical professionals. Christine was well known for her boisterous laughter, her sense of humor and big personality and will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure to know her. Christine is survived by her beloved partner of many years Dennis Churchill: ìI loved you with all my heart, and Iíll miss you forever ñ Iíll never forget youî. She also leaves her children Kyle Taplin and partner Brittany Tucker, Shane Taplin and partner Michelle McGrath, Brad Young and partner Natalie Steel, Greg Young, Mandy Young and her partner Mike Ralph, and her beloved grandchildren. Visitation will occur at Pendergast Funeral Home on Bell Island on January 30th, 2018 at 10:00am, with the funeral service that afternoon at 2:00pm at St. Michaelís Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Janeway Childrenís Hospital Foundation.
