The family of the late Joseph MacKenzie would like to express our sincere thanks to relatives and friends who supported us in our recent loss. Thank you to those who visited the Funeral Home, sent memorial cards and donations, Mass cards, flowers and food. Your presence and kind words were a great comfort to us. Thank you to Fr. Paul Murphy for the celebration of Joe’s life and for the prayers at both the Funeral Home and the graveside. Thank you to Holy Redeemer Choir, Ryan J. MacNeil on Pipes, Shamus MacNeil on the violin for the beautiful music, the Royal Canadian Legion for the Honor Guard, the readers, and pallbearers and also the ladies Auxiliary of Christmas Island Fire Hall for the lovely lunch. All of you made the service a special tribute to Joe. Thank you to Dr. John Archibald, Dr. Ann Frances D’Intino, the Home Care Workers and staff of 4A CBR Hospital, who showed Joe such kindness and respect and to Bill Curry and staff for their professionalism and compassionate service provided.
