It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald MacVicar on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Donald died at home with his loved ones.
Born, 1938 in Glace Bay, NS, he was the son of the late Daniel and Edith (MacKenzie) MacVicar.
Don worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia and Royal Bank in his younger years and later joined London Life, where he retired after 23 years.
Besides his wife, Susanne, he will be dearly remembered by his daughter, Janice McConnell (William); his two sisters, Ruth MacKinnon (Howard) and Audrey Butler (Michael); a very special sister-in-law, Christine Maxner (Peter); and a special cousin, Donald, from Marion Bridge; as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sarah and brothers, Eric, William and James.
Private family service will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton, NB (506-858-1995). Interment will be in Stilesville Cemetery, Stilesville, NB.
