The family of the late Charlotte O’Brien of Corner Brook, wish to extend our sincere thanks for your many kindnesses, and for the condolences and support that we have received on her recent passing.

We express gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, Floor 3 North, for the wonderful care and friendship during Charlotte’s time with you.

We want to thank Father White for leading a beautiful funeral mass for mom, and to Father Gash, for his participation. The Sacred Heart Folk Choir added beauty and dignity to the celebration of mom’s life. We want to thank everyone who helped make the Funeral Mass a special tribute to Mom, including the Bereavement Committee, Communion Ministers, and Servers.

The O’Brien’s are a big family, and mom’s grandchildren honoured her memory by serving as pall bearers, readers, presenting the General Intercessions, and in the Preparation of the Gifts.

We express gratitude for the caring and dignified service provided by the Country Haven Funeral Home. Their understanding of our needs, and their quick and kind response, brought great comfort to us.

There were so many people who visited, brought cards and gifts of food, and who sent flowers and online expressions of sympathy. Those gestures were greatly appreciated. We appreciate your kindness and support.

Mom’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. There were so many of us, yet she made everyone feel special. Her gentleness and love are her gifts to all of us. And we will always treasure them.
