It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bryce. He died peacefully in Peace Arch Hospital with his family by his side.
Bryce touched the hearts of many people and his spirit will always be remembered. We honour his service in the Second World War where he served with the Irish Regiment out of Toronto. He was commended with medals for bravery and duty to his country.
Bryce's happiest times were on the golf course - especially the 19th hole. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He lived life large and never missed an opportunity to have a conversation with anyone he met. Bryce was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and moved to White Rock, B.C. in 1990 to be with his children and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by Jean, his loving wife of fifty-nine years.
Bryce will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Sue (Dave, Kamloops), Barb (Jim, Victoria) and Kim (Brian, White Rock) and his six grandchildren David, Jeff, Thea, Sarah, Lia, and Emily and his great granddaughter Samantha.
A Celebration of Life for Bryce will be held Saturday, May 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen Baptist Care Home, 1550 Oxford St., White Rock, B.C., V4B 3R5.
Donations to Evergreen's "Chapel Fund" or the "Evergreen Baptist Home Society Memorial Fund" are gratefully appreciated.
