Peacefully, with her family by her side at the Atlantic Baptist Home in Charlottetown on February 16, 2018, of Sheila MacInnis, formerly of St. Peter’s Bay, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Daniel A. MacInnis and dear mother of Donnie, Cathy (Sam) Nicholson, and Donna (Steve) LeClair. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Samantha (Kenny), Darcy (Zoë), Jill (Jevon) and Seth Nicholson; and Reece and Nathan LeClair. Also survived by brothers, Gerald and Aeneas Gauthier; and by her sister, Rita Walsh; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny O’Hanley, Billy (Dolly) MacInnis, Sarah (Ray) Sanderson, Anne (George) Stewart, Arlene MacInnis and Verna Gauthier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Lawrence and Bella Gauthier, and infant granddaughter, Grace Nicholson. Also predeceased by siblings, Mary Daley, Clara Prowse, Lawrence Gauthier, Tilly Molden, Cathy O’Hanley, Johnny Gauthier and Lucy Au’Coin; as well as sister-in-law, Jody Murphy; and brothers-in-law, Johnny and Harley MacInnis. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Center, St. Peter’s Bay, for visitation on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Funeral mass immediately following at 3 p.m. at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Bay. Interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sheila’s memory and would be gratefully appreciated, to the Alzheimer Society of PEI.
