The death occurred on Sunday, February 18, 2018 of John Gilbert Gallant of Stratford, age 71 years. Beloved husband of Lynne Gallant (nee Murnaghan). Loving father of Keely Gallant (Jeff Trainor), Erin Trevena (Eric) and Evan Gallant. John is also survived by grandchildren - Stacey and Kelly Trevena; Lola and Samuel Vos and Jessie and Lauralynn Trainor; sisters - Elyse Muttart, Marjorie Debodt and Claire Gallant (Michael Gaudet) and brother - Paul Gallant (Donna). He was predeceased by his parents - Dr. Gilbert and Eva (Arsenault) Gallant. No visitation or funeral service by personal request. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Heart and Stroke Foundation or IWK Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
