We, the family of the late Kenneth M. Smith, would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the prayers love and support during Kenny’s passing. We are very blessed and thankful to our friends and family who supported us in our recent loss. Thank you for your kindness to all who sent food, flowers, cards, monetary donations and attended the visitation and funeral service. Special thanks to Reverend Marion Jefferies for your words of comfort and a beautiful funeral service; organist Sandra Matheson for the lovely music; pallbearers, Kenny’s nephews and George Hillier. Special thank you to Dr. Mark Elleker, for his exceptional care over the years and during Kenny’s battle with dementia. Thank you to the staff of 3 north Glace Bay Hospital who gave Kenny excellent care.to the Birch Grove Ladies Rural Development for providing the beautiful lunch and reception. Special thanks to the Birch Grove Fire Department and all other fire departments who formed the honor guard. Thank you to Patten Funeral Home especially Michelle Young for the dignity and respect shown to our family.
