Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre after a battle with cancer that was fought with courage, dignity and his customary wit. Predeceased by wife Ceanne (Rose) and parents Harvey and Sadie. Leaving to mourn wife Linda, daughter Shanna and son Ian (Katie), grandchildren Forest and Georgia Butt, Angela and Emily Sheppard, brother Derek (Beverly), sisters Glenda Winsor (Glenn) and Gloria Le Feuvre (Keith), step-children Shawn (Carol), Melanie (Tony), Brian (Candeena), Brad (Rodney), also a large circle of other family and friends. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral service 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9th, 2018, from Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Broad Cove, Conception Bay North at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H.
