In Loving Memory of

Margaret Matheson
July 8, 1925- March 6, 2018


It is with sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Rolly.
She is survived by her daughters Liz Feldman and Donna Matheson (Blair). She was blessed to have 3 wonderful grandchildren. T.J., Paige, and Brett. She was recently blessed 2 weeks ago with a great-grandson Luka Feldman.
She loved the Blue Jays, but most of all she loved Curling. She was an avid curler and in one bonspiel she participated in she skipped her team to score an 8- Ender!
She knit for everybody. Everyone who knew her has a pair of Marg's mittens. For years she faithfully knit mittens for the Red Cross Winter Warmth Campaign, where mittens were given out to local school children who came to school without mittens.
Her last knitting project was a baby Afghan that her great grandson came home from the hospital wrapped in. Famously known for and frequently requested was her fudge. It really was the best!
We would like to thank all her friends and neighbours who were always there for her when she needed them.
And finally, THANK-YOU to the wonderful staff at Extendicare for the wonderful care you provided. We are forever grateful.
Donations to the South Porcupine Legion Branch #287 or the Timmins Humane Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
