Pulsifer, Barbara Ann, 91, Bible Hill, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Vimy Court, Bible Hill, with her family by her side. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel (Pratt) Hanes.
Barbara is survived by her eleven children, Carolyn (Jim) Nelson, Brookfield, Bobby Pulsifer (Debbie Burris), Hilden, Brenda (Bob) McCoul, Five Houses, Joan (Paul) Clough, Onslow, Debbie (Blake) Glazebrooke, St. Stephen’s, NB, David (Ann-Marie) Pulsifer, McCallum Settlement, Rose (Mike) Nolan, Bible Hill, her special son Reggie who lives with his sister Joan, Onslow, Wade (Laurie) Pulsifer, Stewiacke, Bonnie Pulsifer (Dave Skinner), Truro, Wendy (Steve) Bonin, Valley; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Lindsay of Onslow; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Vernon Frederick Pulsifer; daughter Cheryl; brothers, Phillip, Elroy, Ronald, Alvin; sisters, Dorothy, Irene, Phyllis in infancy.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro from where visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 28th from 6-9 pm and where funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 29th at 2 pm. Reverend John Sullivan will officiate with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in Bible Hill Cemetery, Bible Hill. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of choice.
