Eunice "Honey" Grace Allison

Eunice "Honey" Grace Allison

Eunice "Honey" Grace Allison, 75 years of age, of Amherst passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 with her loving family at her side. Born in Waltham, Mass., she was the eldest daughter of the late Ernest and Grace (Kennedy) Bugley.
Honey worked many different jobs in her life. She loved working with people and her favourite job was the many years she spent working as a receptionist at the Land Registry Office in Nemarket Ontario. Her quick wit and sarcastic comments made her a favourite in that office!
In 2006, Honey returned to Amherst to be closer to her family. Family was absolutely everything to her! She loved nothing more then sitting around exchanging memories and sharing a laugh with her favourite people! She loved to laugh and enjoyed tossing in a few curse words just to add a little shock value to the conversation. You never knew quite what to expect would come out of her mouth next! She always said "I am old now, I can say what I want! "
Honey loved music, especially Elvis Presley, horses and any Boston sports team. She loved to play cards and was the Cribbage Queen in the family, challenging anybody to a game. Her later years were spent with her kitties Zoe and Ziva watching her beloved Wrestling Channel with a Tim Hortons coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
Honey will be forever missed by her children, Doug (Kendrah) Allison, Julie Allison-Savage (Andrew Savage), and Dawn Thompson (Dave Smith), her beloved grandchildren, Jacob Allison, Darren (Megan) Thompson, Gabriel, Sydney, Tyler and Tanner Allison, her siblings David (Leona) Bugley, Nola (Bob) Davis, Joe Stevens, Dee Scott, Kirk Bugley, Rennie (Bonnie) Bugley as well as many nieces and nephews.
Honey's family would like to thank everyone for their kind words of support. Honey was very special to many people and we just wast to say "MOM... WE LOVE YOU MORE"
Arrangements are under the care of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St. Amherst (902-667-8777). No visitation or funeral service by request.
