The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 of Malcolm Robert “Bob” MacDonald of Chelton, P.E.I., aged 87 years. Bob was born in Pictou, N.S. to the late John and Flora MacDonald. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Bears) MacDonald and loving father of Barbara Lavigueur of Eastern Passage, N.S. and Lloyd MacDonald of New Haven. Also lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren: Bob, Coady and Chelsea MacDonald and James and Richard Lavigueur and his nephews Sandy (Joan) Bears of Halifax, NS. and Charles (Linda) Bears of Alberta. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Completed funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date. Memorial donations in Bob’s memory to the Bedeque United Church Fund would be greatly appreciated.
