Albert ‘Butch’ NOSEWORTHY

Our loving husband and devoted father, Butch, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in the An Cala Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. He succumbed to a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Butch was a family man who loved his wife, Vina and his two sons, Jason (Shelley) and Kirk.
His wife, Vina was the love of his life and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August. Butch was a devoted father whose sons were proud to call him their Dad. He was always proudly involved in their lives.
After Mass on Sundays, he and Vina enjoyed breakfast weekly. With a vision, Butch designed and constructed his family home in Coxheath. Throughout his life, he was employed in the trucking business, car sales and carpentry. Visits to Tim Hortons and McDonalds, playing his guitar, skating at the local arenas and visiting shut-ins were very rewarding activities for our husband and Dad.
Besides his wife and sons, Butch is survived by his sisters, Shirley Madower and Doreen Richardson, and special nephew, John Madower, all of Toronto.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Lydia Noseworthy; brothers, Ronald and Robert; his father and mother-in-law, Neil and Joyce Kelly; sister-in-law, Sister Marie Kelly (SSM), and niece, Paula Graham.
Butch lived his life to the fullest surrounded by dear family and friends.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday, April 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Butch’s life will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Monday, April 16 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and friends who cared for Butch on his final journey. God bless you all.
