FROST, Elsie Viola (nee Batten) It is with great sadness that the family of Elsie Frost announces her passing on Monday, April 9, 2018, at the age of 77 years. Elsie was predeceased by her parents Nathaniel and Emma (Atkins) Batten; brother Douglas Batten; nephew Colin Lester Basha; brother in law Ronald Pepin; and three sisters, Marjorie, Ethel and Eleanor Batten.

Left to mourn are her two daughters, Tina Louise Frost and Kimberly Michelle Frost of Toronto; sisters Doris Pepin and Laura Hirst of Toronto, ON; Evelyn (Alfred) Skanes of Cambridge, ON; brother Walter Batten of St. John’s, NL; sister in law Lorraine Batten of Glenwood, NL; as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins and a large number of extended family and friends.

Cremation has already taken place, and a memorial service held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00am at The Salvation Army Scarborough Citadel in Toronto. Interment will follow at a later date in her home town of Bell Island, Newfoundland.

Donations in Elsie’s name may be made to either The Salvation Army Scarborough Citadel in Toronto, or the Church of St. Cyprian and St. Mary, Anglican Parish of Bell Island in Newfoundland.
