We, the family of the late Russell Bennett, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our family, friends, and neighbors for the kindness they have shown us during our recent loss. To those who sent food, visited our home, made phone calls, sent flowers, made memorial donations, monetary gifts, sent cards and e-mails, and those who travelled to be with us, thank you. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of 3B and Hospice Palliative Care, Cape Breton Regional Hospital who showed him care and professionalism.
We are grateful to everyone who attended the Celebration of Life, special thanks to granddaughter, Chantel MacDonald, for the beautiful eulogy for Poppy. Thank you to Sheldon Chant for the beautiful service, musicians Aaron Lewis, Kim Fraser and nephew, Allie Bennett. Finally, to the staff of S.W. Chant Funeral Home, your compassion, and professionalism will always be remembered and appreciated.
