Millicent Smith (nee Hunt), passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at age 76. Predeceased by her husband Raymond. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her children Kirk (Daisy) and Karl (Donna); her grandchildren Chris, Emma, Jorja, Nolan and Grayson; her loving sisters Carmel Bridge (John), Mary Hunt (Ted), Patsy McGrath (Anthony) and Shirley Hurley (Wilson); brothers Thomas, Gerald (Lisa) and Doug (Wanda); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff and residents at St. Luke’s Home especially Pleasantview and Fairhaven units, your kindness, laughter and compassion was much appreciated. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, St. John’s, Monday, April 23 from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, April 22 at 10 am, St. Teresa’s Church, St. John’s. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of one’s choice.
