Passed suddenly and peacefully away, Helen Metcalfe, beloved wife of David Metcalfe and mother to son Howard and daughter Pamela. Predeceased by parents Charles and Ethel Mercer, brother Jacob (Jane), brother-in-law Ches Crisby and son-in-law Mike Lantos. Leaving to mourn sister Irene Crisby and her children Charlie (Regina), Paul (Allison) and Elizabeth (Rick), brother-in-law Bruce Metcalfe (Lilly) and their daughters Annette (Val Coates), Kimberley (Ed Frazee) and Lori Metcalfe. Also fondly remembered by other relatives and friends for her strength of spirit, kind heart and love of her flower garden. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday, April 28 from 10 AM - 12 noon, 2-4:30 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service to take place from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 2 pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
