We, the family of Andrew Read Newbury (formerly of Vulcan Avenue), regret to announce his passing on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Celtic Court, Sydney.
Born May 5, 1929, in Sydney, he was the son of the late Vincent and Ann (MacLean) Newbury.
Andrew was an adherent of the Sydney Pentecostal Church. In 1993, he retired from the City of Sydney, where he worked in the works department.
Andrew is survived by his stepdaughter, Norma Corbett, Sydney; stepsons, Norman (Gwelda) Macmillan, Sydney and Donald (Brenda) MacMillan, Ontario.
He was predeceased by his wife, Freda (Bonnell); stepson, Billy MacMillan; sisters, Mary and Sadie; brothers, Malcolm, John D. and Wilfred.
There will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in Hardwood Hill Cemetery at a later date.
