Susan Winnifred Spencer - 66, Bible Hill, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Noel, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Alice (Mallay) Spencer. Susan had a great passion for making homemade bread and was very good at it. She was always good with children and especially enjoyed being with them. She had a heart of gold and had a great love for animals. She is survived by brothers, Clarence, North Noel Road; Cleveland and Murray, both of Truro; sister, Albertha Cummer, Amherst; step-sister, Rhada McCulloch (Bill), East Noel; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-parents, Edna and Lloyd Faye; brothers, Reginald, Nelson and Sheldon in infancy. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall - Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where visitation will be held 2-4 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018, and funeral service 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018, Pastor Ken Banks officiating. Interment in Noel Cemetery, Noel. Donations in Susan’s memory may be made to Colchester SPCA.
