Marguerite T. Lipton – 92, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018 in Truro, NS after a very brief illness. She was visiting family and friends in Nova Scotia over the 2017 Christmas season when she suddenly became ill and passed away. Marguerite is survived by her sisters – Evelyn Pettipas, Lourdes/Riverton, Aquinas “Tiny” Dorie, Westville/Pictou, Veronica Barron, Okotoks, Alberta, Joan (George) Fraser, Truro and Marilyn Lacerte, Victoria, BC; as well as two brothers – Vernon “Mickey” Lipton, Almonte, Ont. And Cyril (Stella) Lipton, Riverview, NB.
Marguerite was predeceased by her parents, David and Eva (Andrea) Lipton, brothers, Anthony “Tony”, John Francis, Chester, Adrian “Papa”, Peter; sister, Elizabeth.

A Celebration of Christian Burial will be held in Immaculate Conception Parish, 669 Prince St., Truro, Monday, May 7th at 11am, Rev. Fr. Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. Reception following in Campbell Hall. Burial following the reception in Lourdes Cemetery, Stellarton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kane’s Kitchen in Truro or to a charity of your choice.
