After a brief illness, in her 91st year, Betty Muriel (Parker) Samen passed away peacefully April 2, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, North Bay, Ontario with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Clarence Charles Samen; her parents Edith and George Parker; her sisters and brothers-in law, Hazel Angevine (Herman), Dorothy Cresine (Roy). In 2010, she returned to her birth province of Nova Scotia and resided in Truro where she enjoyed the time with her sister Dorothy, and reconnecting with many friends.
