It is with heavy hearts the family would like to announce the sudden passing of our cherished mother Nancy Butler (nee Fillier). Predeceased by her husband James B. Butler, parents John and Susanna Fillier, siblings John (Joan) Fillier, Raymond Fillier, Elizabeth Rideout, Florence Decker. Also, inlaws Mary Butler, Maxwell Butler, Bill (Marion) Butler, Fred (Margaret) Butler, Ethel Butler, Marjorie (Fred) Snow, Fred Morgan and Mel Clarke. She leaves to mourn her three precious sons whom she adored, James (Roxann), Fred ( Melanie), Jabez (Carmel). Also, Her four grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, Dryden, Joel, Kate and Samantha. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters Ralph (Anne Marie), Nina (Dave Rideout), Rosalind (Paul Whiffen), Pearl Clarke, Diane (Blair Macintosh), Ron (Rosalind), Abe (Eva), Pat (Sophronia), Fred (Irene), brothers and sisters-in-law Fern Butler, Edna Morgan, Phyllis Morgan, George Rideout, Gerald Decker. As well as, many nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral home on Bell Island. Visitation on Sunday, May 6 and Monday, May 7 from 12-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at St. Cyprians/St. Mary's on Tuesday, May 8 at 2 pm. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Cyprian's/ St. Mary's church hall. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
