It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Jane Penney announce her passing on Monday, May 7, 2018, at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Isabell (Robert) Tulk and Jim (Kay) Penney; grandchildren Terry (Elma), Darren (Sandi), Adam (Lori), Chad (Jana) and Todd (Denise); great-grandchildren Jason, Cassie, Riley, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Jeremy, Hunter and Gage; brother-in-law Gerald (Mae); sisters-in-law Sylvia, Elaine (Jack), Elaine and Helen; special friend Gordon Wagg and the Wagg family; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reg, brothers Bill, Dick, Ned and Derm, sisters Maurita and Madeline, parents Jack and Gertrude Kenny, parents-in-law Elot and Alice Penney. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 10 at 2 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating.
